An Individual Approach to Learning
The manager and passionate childcare team at Treetops Toton are committed to providing an individual approach to your child’s nursery education. The team cares for children from 12 weeks up to the age of 5 years old.
Guided by the EYFS statutory framework they deliver a stimulating programme of child-led play and learning designed to maximise the potential of every child.
Our children enjoy their own dedicated rooms to ensure that we deliver age and stage appropriate activities and care monitored against key developmental milestones. Depending on the age of your child they’ll get to enjoy a fun and wide range of activities and experiences including messy and sensory play, construction, problem-solving, language and communication skills, role play, baking, rhyme and story time to name but a few.
As they progress through the nursery they will begin to experience a little more structure and routine to prepare them for ‘big school’. Preschool children will develop their reading and writing skills, practising letters and sounds and developing their understanding of mathematics.
We have strong links with local schools and ensure that we work closely with them to ensure a smooth transition for our preschool children. Our children tend to go on to Chetwynd Primary Academy, Beeston, Banks Road Infant School, Beeston, Meadow Lane Infant School. Beeston and Grange Primary School, Long Eaton.
