An Individual Approach to learning
Children at Treetops St Neots Day Nursery are cared for in 4 separate age-dependent rooms with a curriculum devised in line with the EYFS statutory framework. Our rooms are bright and airy and enjoy a cosy home-from-home feel, designed to settle and relax babies and children into the nursery environment.
Our passionate childcare team delivers a programme of stimulating and exciting activities and experiences to navigate children through key childhood milestones. From arts and crafts, messy play and sensory play to home corner and role play there’s lots to do to challenge enquiring minds.
Though fun is the order of the day every day we begin to gently introduce more structure in our preschool rooms and deliver the foundations you’d expect for lifelong learning – phonics, literacy, writing and elemental mathematics plus key social skills to help your little ones become confident and independent.
We even run week-long programmes of school readiness for children leaving the nursery, to equip them with all of the essential skills they need for ‘big school’.
The childcare team prides itself on an individual approach to learning and being accessible to parents, helping to form strong partnerships. From daily feedback sessions to parents evenings and newsletters, our mission is to help you bring out the very best in your child.
Fantastic Outdoor Nursery Play
Outdoor play is essential for growing, developing children and represents a great way to promote physical development and health living. We encourage the children at Treetops St Neots to get out and about every day in our amazing, secure, fenced garden garden – to move freely, get creative and explore nature.
In addition to our varied curriculum we offer additional activities at a nominal charge. These include Tiny mites magical music classes and Monkeynastix -a broad-based, holistic programme that combines creativity and music with basic training in flexibility, balance, strength, agility, co-ordination and body awareness.
Links with Local Schools
We work closely with local schools to transition our preschool children. They typically go on to neighbouring schools including Bushmead Primary School, Middlefield Community Primary school, Eynesbury CE Primary School, Winhills County Primary School and Crosshall Infant School Academy Trust.
