Characterful Church Conversion Nursery
Treetops Kenton Day Nursery and Preschool is housed in a beautiful converted church building with lots of charm and character.
Set back off the main Kenton Road we enjoy a calm location in a lovely residential neighbourhood but with all of the benefits that the local High Street has to offer.
We are well connected to transport links with a variety of bus routes accessed on Kenton High Road and we enjoy a choice of two nearby train stations. Kenton Station can be reached in under ten minutes on foot and offers Overground routes to London Euston and Watford Junction plus the jubilee line underground. Northwick Park Station is just 5 minutes by foot for Metropolitan line services.
For parents driving to Treetops Kenton there’s a small car park to the rear of the building for drop-offs and pick-ups only. This can be reached from St Mary’s View off St Leonards Avenue.
We’d love to show you around our nursery!
Anything else we can help you with?
Our recently refurbished nursery is relatively compact offering a lovely home-from-home feel that our parents value. They find it welcoming and calm, reassuring those leaving children for the first time. Most of the children attending Treetops Kenton have been recommended by other parents, the best accolade for any childcare setting.
Our skilled and dedicated childcare team cares for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years in 4 age and stage appropriate rooms with activities tailored to their developmental needs.
Children at Treetops Kenton Nursery enjoy a programme of stimulating and exciting activities and experiences, developed in line with the EYFS statutory framework.
There’s messy play, sensory play, construction, junk-modelling, home corners and role play right through to the pre-school staples of phonics, literacy and elemental mathematics. Our aim is to maximise the potential of every child in our care and we have plenty of fun along the way.
Also offered as part of our learning programmes are gardening, cooking, yoga and Spanish lessons. Parents can pay a nominal amount for additional activities including music and movement sessions and Theatre Bugs.
We have good links with Orley Farm Primary School in Harrow where many of our preschool children go when they leave Treetops Kenton Nursery and Preschool.
Out and About in The Community
An important part of learning is understanding the world around us. That’s why you’ll find the Treetops Team and children from Treetops Nursery and Preschool out and about in the community. We enjoy walks to local parks where we indulge in mud-splashing and insect and bug-hunting– learning all about nature and our environment. The children love our visits to the local library for a spot of story-time and of course we are good friends with the church next door.
Outdoor Play at Treetops Kenton
It’s essential that young children get frequent and regular opportunities to explore and learn in the outdoor environment and the team at Treetops Kenton support this, making sure everyone gets outside as part of the everyday routine. Our compact garden provides safe, secure play opportunities for all age groups and is awaiting refurbishment as part of our entire nursery renovations.
Susan started joined the Treetops Nurseries family in 2004 as a nursery nurse working her way up to nursery manager. Susan joins our band of long-standing managers with over 12 years’ continuous service at Treetops Kenton, something our parents value highly.
