Home-from-home Day Nursery
Leaving your baby or child for the first time can be overwhelming and the welcoming team at Kindercare East Keswick Nursery are skilled in settling children and parents, easing families into the nursery routine as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.
The staff are friendly and caring and invest time in growing relationships and partnerships with parents as well as the children they care for. They offer detailed and valuable feedback so that you can understand your child’s development and offer practical advice and tips on things you can do at home to supplement their learning.
Our Early Years professionals in the preschool rooms at Kindercare East Keswick Nursery work hard to prepare your child for school life ahead. You can expect your preschool child to learn all of the staples of phonics, literacy and writing and elemental mathematics but play will continue to be an important part of their learning journey. We strive to develop happy, confident, independent little people ready to take on the challenge of ‘big school’.
Our preschool head of section has good links with many neighbouring schools and many of our children leave to go onto Collingham Lady Elizabeth’s CE Primary School Wetherby, Bardsey Primary School, Bardsey, Gateways School, Harewood, Leeds and Rose Court Pre-Prep School, Leeds.
Sue has worked for Kindercare, part of the Treetops Nurseries family, for over 5 years with a short break in between service to live abroad. She’s an experienced mum of two grown boys, trained in Special education needs and disabilities (SEND) and loves drawing, painting, reading and walking. She’s also a self-confessed sun-worshipper and loves holidays abroad, red wine and cheese platters.
