My role is to lead the team at Treetops Nurseries, ensuring we deliver high quality care to the children in our nurseries and continue to grow, providing new nurseries and career opportunities.
Over the years, I have run a number of organisations, however my current role wins every time when it comes to job satisfaction and working with a superb, highly motivated team.
In my spare time, you can find me out running or with my almost grown up children.
I joined the team in 2002 as a Nursery Manager in our 10th nursery at Dudley.
My role is all about inspiring and motivating highly qualified, passionate childcare professionals to deliver the very best childcare and education in all of our nurseries.
I am responsible for ensuring that we meet all compliance and regulations as stipulated by Ofsted and I currently manage our team of Area Managers and the Maintenance Operatives.
In my spare time you will find me with my family or whizzing around on the back of a Harley Davidson!
Chief Financial Officer
My name is Clare Wilson and I have been working at Treetops since 2009. I qualified as an accountant over ten years ago, training within the transport industry, working in many different roles across the UK and mainland Europe.
At Treetops, I work with a wider finance team of ten people, who all hold a great mix of formal qualifications and experience. Alongside my finance team I also manage our HR, training and recruitment teams.
As well as working for Treetops, I have also had first-hand experience of our childcare as a parent; my son, Toby, who was born in 2008, attended our Silvertrees nursery in Derby until he went to school. The care he received there made him the confident little chap he is today, and ensured a fantastically smooth transition from nursery to school.
I am so proud of our ‘play, create, educate’ ethos and can vouch for its effectiveness both as a parent and as a director of the business.
Head of HR
I look after a team of six people, responsible for recruitment, training, and all aspects of employment.
It’s critical that we only employ the best possible childcare professionals, who support our ‘play, create, educate’ ethos, whilst delivering our vision and values, and it’s my job to make sure this happens.
In my spare time I like to eat out (a lot), go horse riding and accompany my husband clay pigeon shooting.
My role is to ensure that parents experiences of communicating with Treetops Nurseries are exceptional.
It is likely that your first contact with Treetops will be with my team, who will do everything they can to find the best Treetops Nursery for you, arrange visits and welcome your child into the Treetops family.
The marketing team also work hard to engage parents with regular events and garden parties at our nurseries, as well as developing new ways of keeping them in touch with news from our nurseries and communications about their child.
In my spare time I enjoy a range of `sports having spent 13 years of my career in the sporting sector. I also enjoy having fun with my young family and getting away on two-wheels!
